Sony built this sub with the marine environment in mind — it sports a UV- and salt-resistant design that can endure long days in the heat of the sun. The gold-plated binding posts resist corrosion, so you don’t have to worry about moisture damage.

The unique cone design contains spiral ribs for increased rigidity. The result — low distortion and nothing but clean, accurate sound. You can use this sub for free-air applications — no enclosure is required.
